Maiko san in Kyoto.
Kyoto is famous for maiko, or apprentice geisha. However, these maiko are probably not genuine, as they are rarely seen in the daytime at tourist sites. These ladies are probably themselves tourists who have paid money to be made up as maiko for a day.
