Ko Phi Phi

While the main method of transportation is actually by boat, if you are not on the water you usually use your feet. The pathways are not suitable for cars; there are some motorcycles on the island but most use bicycles.

For purposes or cargo, these two-wheeled pushcarts are widely used. With the paths being as narrow and crowded as they are the drivers have to shout out "beep beep" to get pedestrians out of the way--sounds rude, but this novel adaptation actually comes off as polite.
All day and night these pushcarts can be seen carrying linen, trash, vegetables, seafood, tourists' baggage, and anything else you can think of.
